Daniel Hanson began producing wool jacquard dressing gowns in the early 2000’s after finding a distinctive mill and family-run weaving business in India who produce exceptional quality, 100% pure new woollen shawls. Often in sprawling and tasteful Indian paisley patterns with rich colour and a loose softness often not achieved by the British mills… These wools are used by Daniel Hanson to this day, still sourced from the same family business, and most often cut in combination with our signature silk and wool facings, to create decadent and highly pleasing dressing gowns: heavy, rich and balanced.
